For Aisle Apelacio Renta, working for Royal Caribbean Group was always a dream – until she got the opportunity to join in 2008. Starting out in the galley as a Commis 3 Cook, Aisle’s passion and commitment to providing guests with the best experiences motivated her to do more.

In 2012, Aisle received the opportunity to grow in the company, and now, 11 years later, she’s a proud restaurant supervisor onboard Freedom of the Seas. “[Royal Caribbean Group] offers lots of opportunities for crew members,” she said. “There are opportunities for growth if you have different interests, and the company wants you to grow.”

When asked what she thinks people would be surprised to learn about Royal Caribbean Group, Aisle replied, “People will be surprised by everything. The company offers everything. It feels like home.”

Royal Caribbean Group wants every day to feel like home, so for Aisle, the trainings, team building and special events reminds her of home. “Even though you’re far from home, you have a new family, and it feels like home,” said Aisle, who hails from the Philippines.

What makes Aisle proud to work for Royal Caribbean? “The culture – being passionate, committed and friendly to everybody,” replied Aisle. “We apply that in our daily lives on the ship. It helps us to grow as well, not only because we have the opportunity to travel the world, but to meet people, to serve the guests and to deliver the experiences they expect.”
