Manager, Paid Media | Silversea
Paula Romero is a Manager for Paid Media with Silversea, helping to advertise the incredible products that are Silversea cruises. “I support the development of innovative ideas by making sure the problem my team and I are trying to solve is clear, this way we understand what we have to go after,” Paula shared. “I like to make sure everyone feels comfortable in the room, that there are no bad ideas and no wrong answers so that everyone participates. It’s really casual and open.”
When asked what she hopes people will gain from viewing our Propelled by People: Our Stories photo series, captured by world-renowned photographer, Steve McCurry, Paula replied, “I hope when people see the photo series, which is a huge honor to be part of, they get to see how much fun it is to work here and how excited I am to be here.”
Working for Royal Caribbean Group is a blessing for many, and for Paula, she feels immense pride working for this company. “Who doesn’t feel energized and excited when watching our Town Halls, having our leaders share updates and their vision for the company? I feel very proud to be a part of this organization,” she said, “Every time I tell people where I work, I point to the port and the buildings! I say, ‘there, see our ships? They are prettier, and our company is so much better,’ when I get to tell people where I work, I feel very cool and proud.”
While working for Silversea, Paula had an incredible opportunity to sail on Silver Endeavour and take a cruise to Antarctica. “Beyond the adventure of a lifetime. I was familiarizing myself with our product, and it was my first time onboard a Silversea ship, I was starstruck when I saw the Endeavour against the Antarctica landscape. She looked just perfect, it made me really proud of the product and our brand,” she said of her cruise. “It was just out of this world!”
